The Corrections Log. Every Error This Site Has Published, and What Was Done About It.
In short. This page records every substantive error the site publishes: the date, what was wrong, the corrected wording, and how it happened. Entries are never removed. Spelling and formatting fixes are not logged; anything that changes a fact, a figure or a characterisation is.
The policy. When an error is found, the article is corrected in place with a dated note, and an entry is added here. If the error was material to the piece's conclusion, the correction is also flagged at the top of the article itself. To report an error, use the contact page; reports are acknowledged and the outcome is recorded here whichever way it goes.
The log
8 September 2026, this page. This page told readers to "use the contact address in the site footer". There was no contact address in the footer, and there is no published address anywhere on this site: correspondence is being moved to a form, for the reasons given on the contact page. The sentence pointed at a route that did not exist. It now points at the contact page. No factual claim in any article was affected.
The first entry in this log is about this log, which is not the start anyone plans. It is recorded because the alternative is quietly fixing it, and a site that quietly fixes its own paperwork has no business examining anyone else's.
